Martyn and Siân Whittaker worked at Eglise Horizon (Horizon Church) in 2014-2015 leading children’s Sunday school. Currently they are at Eglise Connexion Vie in Melun, a town 35 miles south of Paris. Sian is responsible for the children’s ministry there. They are also doing outreach to families where they live in Saint Pierre du Perray, which is a Paris suburb of 10,000, with no Protestant church. The Whittakers’ goal is to develop a church in their town, working with two other Christian couples who live near them. In a season of violence, terrorism, and hopelessness, a church in the community will offer hope, truth and love.
